and though it doesn't feel right,
you know you've got worse ones coming after you
and you've got to be in bed by 3
but it's well past that now,
and he just won't slow down

doesn't seem to be the type of man
who gives a thought to writing out a lengthy plan
but now you're going hand in hand
you think you'll start to see, you'll understand

how you've gone so far so long

and though it doesn't feel right,
his bedroom was a mess,
but you still shut off your phone
cos you do what you're told
because you never liked to be alone
